JPG to PDF

Turn JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC images into one PDF, one picture per page. Ideal for scanned documents, receipts and photos you need to send as a single file, and it works on your phone too.

Your files are processed in your browser and never leave your device.

How to use JPG to PDF

  1. Click "Select images", or drag your JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC images into the box.
  2. Put the images in the order you want: drag an image to its place, or use the ↑ and ↓ buttons. Remove any with ✕.
  3. Choose a page size (A4, US Letter or Same as image) and a margin.
  4. Click "Convert to PDF", then "Download PDF". Each image becomes one page.

How to combine multiple photos into one PDF

Many applications, such as job, university and visa forms, ask for a document as one PDF rather than several photos. Photograph each page, then combine the photos here.

Choose A4 or US Letter for documents that may be printed, and keep the small margin so nothing is cut off at the edges. Photos taken with the phone held sideways are turned the right way up automatically.

  1. Select all the photos at once, or add them a few at a time.
  2. Put them in the right order: drag each photo by the handle at its left, or use the ↑ and ↓ buttons.
  3. Click "Convert to PDF" and download your single PDF file.

How to convert photos to PDF on your phone

Open this page in your phone's browser and tap "Select images". You can pick several photos straight from your gallery. On iPhone, photos are usually converted from HEIC to JPG automatically when you choose them this way. The finished PDF is saved to your Downloads or the Files app.

What if your photos won't convert to PDF?

JPG to PDF accepts JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC images. If one of your files is refused or the result isn't right, try these.

  1. An iPhone photo (HEIC) takes a moment to appear in the list: it is turned into a JPG first. If one can't be read, it may be damaged; the other photos are still added.
  2. "Not a supported file type": save the picture as JPG or PNG first.
  3. The PDF is too large for an upload form: make it smaller with Compress PDF, or shrink the photos first with Compress image.
  4. The pages have white borders you don't want: choose page size "Same as image" and margin "None", so each page matches its picture exactly.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. PDFHive builds the PDF inside your web browser, on your own computer or phone. Your images are never sent to us or anyone else.

Is JPG to PDF free?

Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark added to your PDF.

Which image formats can I use?

JPG (also called JPEG), PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC photos. HEIC photos are turned into JPGs in your browser first, which takes a moment longer, then added like any other image. When you choose photos from your Photos library in iPhone Safari, they are often converted to JPG automatically anyway.

Will my images lose quality?

No. JPG images are placed into the PDF exactly as they are, without being compressed again. PNG and WebP images are added without any further quality loss.

Why are photos from my phone the right way up?

Phones often save photos sideways, with a hidden note saying which way to turn them. Some converters ignore that note, so photos end up sideways. PDFHive reads the note and turns each photo upright.

Can I choose the page size and orientation?

Yes. Choose A4, US Letter, or "Same as image" to make each page exactly the size of its picture. Wide images get a landscape page and tall images a portrait page automatically. You can also choose a small margin or none.

How many images can I convert at once?

There is no fixed limit. Because the work happens on your device, the limit is your device's memory. The tool warns you when your images add up to more than 200 MB.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It works in modern browsers on iPhone, iPad and Android. You can pick photos straight from your gallery, and the PDF is saved to your Downloads or Files app.
